Yuletide: Ekiti First Lady gifts Christmas Rice and money to widows .
Wife of Ekiti State Governor Dr Olayemi Oyebanji has gifted rice and money to widows across the state in the spirit of Christmas season.
Distributing the food item in her office in Ado-Ekiti the Governor's wife who was represented by the Coordinator of Widows Aged and Orphans Hope Initiative, WAOH, Mrs Kemi Dairo noted that members of this vulnerable group were picked from all council areas according to their registration with the office.
She explained that the two kilogrammes of rice and money given to each widow invited would go a long way to reducing the burden of buying food stuff and money for soup which prices had skyrocketed due to economic conditions of the country.
Some of the windows who could not hide their joy appreciated the kind gesture of Ekiti State First Lady and promised to support the administration of Governor Biodun Oyebanji.
